Bishop Bavin School is proud to present its 2017 annual Open Week.  Our Open Week is designed to give parents like yourself the perfect opportunity to find out exactly what alternative educational opportunities exist for your children. Bishop Bavin School is giving parents the opportunity to let their children spend a week with us in order to make an informed decision. Don’t miss the opportunity to spend a little time with Bishop Bavin School and explore the amazing world of opportunities our unique educational system can open up for your child.


About the Open Week

Our Open Week falls within the Government School holidays as well as the 4 term independent school holidays BUT should you as a Parent want to utilise the opportunity, they are welcome to let their children spend 2 days with us the Thursday and Friday.

All children will be placed in their current grades including grade 7 students, but the grade 7 students will join our current grade 7 students in the college for the week. They will participate in sports and extra curricular activities just like a normal school week. Should parents want their children to try out boarding, this can be arranged too.

The Open Week is open for children from grade 00 – 10 and boarding is open for grades 1 – 10.  If you are interested in viewing the Early Learning Centre (3-months to grade 000) you are welcome to book a tour during open week and allow your little one the opportunity to spend a day with us if you so wish.

  • On the Friday afternoon of the Open Week, from 14:30 – 19:00, there will be an opportunity for parents to collect their children and have a comprehensive tour of the school as well as meet the heads of the three schools and other key members of staff. Please pick a time slot to the right of this text, that best indicates what time you would like to tour the school or please indicate if you do not wish to tour the school as a parent.
