Important Admission Dates

Parents, it is always important to remember that certain grades are more popular than others and applications should be submitted as soon as possible.

Grade 0, 1 and 8 are the most popular grades and applications for these grades will close at the end of February for the following academic year. Early applications are welcomed as spaces are filled on a first come first served basis.

It is important to remember that once your application is completed you child will be required to do the following:

Creche to grade 0 – a parent interview will be held with the Head of the Junior School;

Grade 1 to grade 5: 

  • An assessment will be conducted on either a Tuesday or Thursday morning. The assessment will require about 2 hours of your child’s time and is carried out by a professional;
  • Your child may be required to spend a full school day with us;
  • A parent interview and child (older children) interview will be conducted with the Head of the Junior and Preparatory Schools depending on the grade applied for

Grade 6 – 11;

  • An assessment will be conducted on either a Tuesday or Thursday morning. The assessment will require about 2 – 4 hours of your child’s time (10 – 11, 4 hours) and is carried out by a professional;
  • Your child may be required to spend a full school day with us;
  • A parent interview and child (older children) interview will be conducted with the Head of the Preparatory School and College depending on the grade applied for.

Language School 

  • Grade 1 – 11 will have a non-verbal test which will test cognitive levels only and when they are ready they will have to do the full assessment as described above.

Remember that testing is only done on certain days so the sooner your application is handed in and processed the sooner your test date can be booked. We want to assure you that during the assessment stages, the children are put at ease and should not feel pressurised at all.
